The development of the ANGKASA Strategic Plan (2017-2050) encompasses four (4) strategic pillars, namely ECONOMIC PILLAR, ECOSYSTEM PILLAR. GOVERNANCE PILLAR and INNOVATION PILLAR. The thrusts for each pillar comprise the internal focus (to reinforce ANGKASA’s organisational infrastructure) and external focus (to sustain the cooperative movement led by ANGKASA).

The development of the ANGKASA Strategic Plan (2017-2050) is in line with the government’s aspirations as contained in the New Economic Policy. 2011 -2020 National Cooperative Policy and Putrajaya Declaration. In developing the thrusts of each pillar. the five key focus areas outlined in the 2011 -2020 National Cooperative Policy serve as references and are linked to the ANGKASA Strategic Thrusts (2017-2050).

To achieve the strategies set for each pillar. ANGKASA will work towards sustaining its position as the APEX body up to the global level by formulating action plans in three (3) phases. namely the Short-Term Plan (2017·2020), Medium-Term Plan (2021 ·2030) and Long-Term Plan (2031 -2050).

Accordingly, the development of thrusts based on these two focuses will ensure continuity in the aspect of the weight of the direction of ANGKASA’s strategies to achieve its mission and vision.
